January Edition
Welcome Back!
We have great things happening and many exciting plans for the new year. I know what you are thinking, this is not a new school year. Oh, but it is. We have improved goals and a new plan to roll out in 2022. We have updated our focus and have specific targets for ourselves and our kids. We are all chasing goals this year with new enthusiasm. Each team will have goals that are catered to their team in order to produce successful students. We will continue to push attendance as it can always be better. Every team is tweaking a few things in the new year to make a more profound impact for all of our students.
As a building we are Motivating Empowered Scholars. We are targeting our mission goal of growing our scholars into lifelong learners, problem solvers, and productive citizens of the community. We continue to focus on our core values, learning is required through integrity, growth and kindness. We look forward to this year as we grow as a learning community to promote success for everyone.

Welcome Miss. Shingler Miss. Shingler is new M.E.S. but not to our community. She is a graduate of MWHS and attended Nichol Sawmill as a child. She will be serving our second grade students in Math and Science. We are so excited to welcome her to our team! | Nurse's necessities Please remember to bring necessary meds to the nurse for your student. Make sure students are prepared with a change of clothes if needed. Make sure phone numbers and emails are current in case of an emergency during the school day. | Counselor's corner Our focus for the month of January is "Helping Hands". Our students have been home helping in so many ways, we are wanting to continue student led services at school. |
