From The Principal
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We will host a Teacher Appreciation Spirit Week (see the picture below for details on each day). Students can participate by completing the activities below and bring them to their teacher(s) on the designated day. Feel free to download and print the templates below or students can use copy paper, notebook paper or construction paper.
We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting our 5th grade recognition ceremonies in person! We will be celebrating each class individually and each family will be limited to four family members in order to observe our social distancing protocol. See the invitation for each class below and complete the RSVP embedded in the invite. Distance learners will join Mrs. Hagan's class so please RSVP to Mrs. Hagan's invitation link.

Finally, I want to remind everyone that our playground is closed to the public during the school day and from 4:00-6:00pm Monday through Friday due to Boys and Girls Club. With the nice weather we have had a lot of middle school students on the playground. They can be in the field or over by the middle school but not on the Sunflower playground.
As always it is an honor to serve as the Principal of Sunflower Elementary.
