Something about the desert of Scrubs.....
First this means deserts and xeric scrublands and is a characterize biome by only a small amount of moisture. This desert also has three types which are mediterranean, chaparral, thorn. These have separate things about them there selves the first one Mediterranean is warm and dry with flowers, also has small trees and with i being dry the fires are very important, also is found surrounding large parts of the Mediterranean Sea and is sometimes called the Mediterranean Scrub.. The next one is Thorn which is dry all year round with small spiny plants and they are found in Africa and the animals are Gazelles, Rhinos, Giraffes.The last one is Chaparral which is dry, but is more moisturized than the Mediterranean and has unique species which are jack rabbits, kangaroo,rats,lizards,birds they also are created when cool water from any ocean merges with a landmass that is at a high temperature.The word Chaparral is a spanish word and means scrub oak. The regions only use about to 10 to 40 rainfall per year. Scrubs are on every continent but all indifferent areas but in the U.S habitats are prevalent in California and Florida.
