October 6 - Early Release Details

Big picture

Practice SAT for Juniors

During all class periods on October 6, all juniors will participate in a Practice SAT administration. Junior students and parents will receive an email today or tomorrow with final arrangements. Counselors will also be visiting junior classrooms on Wednesday to share more information.

Early Release Bus Routes

The early release after-school bus route will leave at 11:58 am. Late buses will run at 4:10 and 5:25 for students participating in practices or activities. Students needing to wait at school until practice will be directed to the cafeteria from 12:00-3:00.

D211 College Night

College Night will be held at Palatine High School from 6:30-8:30. More than 150 representatives from colleges and universities across the country will be available to talk with prospective students from all grade levels and their parents or guardians about their institutions.

Test Make-up After School

Test Make-up is not currently using a reservation system for after-school seating. Students may walk-in for after-school testing. Any changes in the future will be communicated to students.

Japanese Club Fundraiser: Pre-Orders Start Now!

Japanese Club will be holding a fundraiser to sell Matcha-Vanilla and Chocolate-Vanilla Cookies on Thursday, October 13 after school until around 5:00 PM. However, pre-orders start now! If you pre-order, we'll make the cookies ready just for you, so that you can grab, pay, and go! You can pre-order your cookies by clicking this Google Form.

Upcoming Events

October 10 and 11 - No Classes

Due to Columbus Day and a District Institute Day, no classes will be held October 10 and 11.

October 13 - Underclassmen Photo Retakes

Freshmen-Juniors - if you did not take your Yearbook photo in August during Wellness Classes OR if you are looking to retake your photo, plan to visit the Staff Study (back of the library) on Thursday, October 13. No appointments are necessary; you may visit the photo area during a free period or lunch.
