Helping Homeless and Neglected Animals
I'm a 5th grade Dual Language Teacher at Oakwood Intermediate, and my passion lies in teaching. However, animals are another passion of mine. I am an animal lover and advocate who strives to help homeless and neglected animals in the community. With the help of other community members like you, I collect items for local shelters and rescue groups and fundraise in various ways in order to allocate monies to meet the needs of homeless/shelter animals. I also strive to create awareness. Did you know that an animal is euthenized every 9 SECONDS in the United States do do lack of space and adoptions? Animals need our help. And you have the power to make a difference.
Ways you can help:
Adopt a pet from an animal shelter
Foster a dog from an animal shelter (Fostering is truly a joy. Follow my page to see some pictures of my past and present foster dogs).
Donate items for shelters and animals
Sponsor an animal in need
Support a medical campaign
LIke and share local shelter posts
I strive to help as many organizations as I can in order to help resuce homeless animals. Below, you will see a list of items that are needed by Bryan Animal Center, Navasota Animal Shelter, Lizzie's Hand: Helping Abandoned and Neglected Dogs, Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue, and more. I will pick up donations from your location and make sure these items are used to help as many animals as possible.
