A Peek at the Week
Reading:
- students are learning to read nonfiction intensely, take notes from several resources, and compare information on the same topic across several texts
- Week 14
- don't forget that your child should be reading at least 15-20 minutes a day
Writing:
- begin organizing our materials and mini stories to begin drafting essays
Math:
- continue Unit 5: Big Numbers, Estimation and Computation
- partial product multiplication
- lattice multiplication
- reteaching/review of decimals
Science
- explore the scientific method and compare it to the steps of the engineering process
Gently Used Games Needed!
With the changing weather our students might spend their recess indoors. If anyone has gently used board games they are willing to donate to the classroom that would be appreciated!
Need some Christmas shopping done? Want to support Noble Crossing? You can do both at Barnes in Noble on Thursday, December 8th (the one off of 37 in Noblesville)
You can shop ANY time with the flier and Barnes and Noble will give a percentage back to our school. From 5-8 that night there will be activities for all the kids and special readers every half an hour!
