Thank You for the Fantastic Ride!
This month I celebrated my 4 year anniversary with Stella & Dot and I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have been there along the way.
What a journey it has been! Four years ago I was juggling three businesses, all of which I loved. I was doing my Passion Test workshops and coaching, co-hosting my radio show, "The Sisters of Sizzle", and of course had my long standing career as a massage therapist. I literally didn't have an extra hour in my week, so when my friend Diane suggested I become a stylist, I said you've got to be kidding! At the same time the economy took a turn, and my bread and butter was spreading thin. I was consistently relying on savings to cover my monthly expenses. It soon became clear that I need extra income. I had no sales background, and my friends may have been secretly chuckling at the idea of me being a stylist, but I saw the opportunity for what it was: a business in a box that would allow me flexible hours and the ability to earn immediately.
Flash forward 4 years and I am proud to share that I am now a Star Stylist with a team of 30! And it really wasn't hard to start my business. The cost of entry is so low (you've spent more in one trip to Nordstrom) and it only took a few trunk shows to become profitable.
I learned all I needed to from my sponsor, local stylist meetings, and the online training resources of Stella & Dot University. There are calls and Facebook groups and trips to Las Vegas, plus incentives galore like free accessories, an iPad (which I won, thank you very much!) and even a trip to Mexico -- plenty of ways to keep you motivated.
All the while you are flexing trunk shows around your busy life. In fact, over 70% of stylists have another job. And quite often kids, too, but no wonder -- you can quite easily fit being a stylist into your life. (And even when you do "go to work", it usually involves a fun social event where you enjoy a glass of wine and meet some new people. It's tough, but someone's gotta do it:)
If this sounds intriguing, I encourage you to get in touch with me and explore whether signing up as a Stella & Dot stylist might be JUST the thing to fit into your life this Fall. But don't wait -- there is an October bonus that ends 10/31. Sign up for just $199 and get $450 in free accessories (an extra $100).
And if you are near Seattle, on November 4th our inspirational CEO, Jessica Herrin, is in town and I would love to have you as my guest at the event. She created this company for women like us and has led it to be a billion dollar global brand in the making, already in the US, Canada, UK, Germany and now France, and poised for massive growth. Her passion is contagious! Why not come check it out?
I have loved meeting so many fabulous women through the trunk shows hosted by many of you. Thank you for allowing me into your homes and lives...I want you all to know how much I appreciate you!
XO,
Elise
P.S. Perhaps this email makes you think of another fabulous friend who would love this opportunity? If so, please connect us, and if she joins I will thank you with a sparkly gift!
Be my guest to meet Jessca Herrin and learn about the biz from the woman who created it!
