A word from your PTSO...........
First PTSO Meeting of the Year!
Milton Somers PTSO would like to welcome you to our first monthly meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, 2023. The meeting will start at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. We will start the meeting with a meet and greet and then move right into our topic for the evening. Our guest speakers are coming from the Center for Abused Persons (CAPS). The Center for Abused Persons (CAP) is a private non-profit agency dedicated to reducing the prevalence and impact of interpersonal violence within Charles County. The topic for the evening is Healthy Families and Healthy Relationships. CAPS has been invited by the BOE in Charles County into several of our middle schools to give our students presentations throughout the year on how to build healthy relationships. This is your opportunity to preview some of the presentation. Please come out and join us for an evening of learning and community collaboration.
The meeting will wrap up with reviewing some of the volunteer opportunities within Milton Somers, presentation of the budget and upcoming activities and fundraisers.
We look forward to meeting everyone. So, mark your calendars for November 7, 2023 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. We will have a door prize drawing and PTSO membership opportunities available as well.
