The Buzz at Westbrook School

From the Principal...

Dear Westbrook Families,
We have had so much fun at Westbrook School the past few weeks. Students loved watching Matt Wilhelm's BMX assembly on Wednesday. Students were cheering for the amazing stunts, and Matt shared the theme of kindness. Thank you so much to our amazing PTO for sponsoring this assembly. Next week, we look forward to having the Lincoln sixth grade show choir and orchestra visit Westbrook for a morning performance.
This year students participated in Art Appreciation in conjunction with Kindness Week as we celebrated the Art of Kindness. Students shared messages of kindness and created drawings to share things that made them smile. If you’d like to add a smile to your day, you can hear their messages at the Buzzing About Kindness Website. Click on a category button to listen to a randomly generated message from one of our kind and talented students! Thank you again, PTO, for sponsoring this creative event and website.
It is hard to believe the last day of Circle of Friends is today, 5/20. I have loved being the principal of our early learning school. Watching the preschoolers learn and grow has brought our staff much joy. I am grateful that you have entrusted your little ones with our Westbrook team. Circle of Friends families, please join us for popsicles in the Westbrook park on Wednesday, May 25th, from 6:15-7:00pm. We hope our Circle of Friends students and families have a fun and safe summer.
For your children,
Danielle Crandall

We enjoyed STEAM stations, reading in the treehouse, and even snuck in a little yoga to go along with our fractured fairy tale.
