Track Out Updates
I hope that all of our students and families are enjoying some screen-free track out time! The importance of play is evident now more than ever. Our children have endured a lot of change and have handled it with grace and patience (in most cases - haha). Please take this last week to make fun memories before the hustle and bustle of school is back.
Our school has been hosting a YMCA track out camp these past two weeks. It has been great to hear the sound of children in the building again. This has been a good precursor to having our students back in the building. Campers have practiced social distancing, worn masks, and enjoyed their time even though the typical camp routine has changed.
Our team has been preparing new routines and procedures to accommodate the new school environment. Health screening protocols, cleaning processes, and classroom set up have been on our agenda. Though school might look different-- lunch and specials in the classroom, masks at all times, and recess without playground structures, we will still be the same "home away from home" environment that your children can rely on. Our staff is ready for your return!
Please note important announcements and documents in this newsletter. There are links that provide answers to many common questions we have been asked. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
We encourage all families to get a carpool number even if the students are walkers or bus riders. In the event of severe weather, the number is very helpful.
