Bear Bulletin

Maire Newsletter: March 17, 2023

Dear Maire Families,

It so nice to see our Maire families and friends enjoying the Spring concert this week. Our students and teachers did an outstanding job organizing and performing! Nicely done Maire Bears! Bravo!

Just another friendly reminder: Our spring conferences are just around the corner. If you haven’t done so already, please be sure to sign up for a conference with your child’s homeroom teacher. Wednesday evening will be via zoom only, while Thursday afternoon and evening will be in-person at Maire. Our support staff and specials teachers are often shared with other buildings, so if you are interested in meeting with them be sure to check their availability on PTC Wizard to set up a time to connect. Please let me know if you need any assistance in the scheduling process.

If you have any additional wonderings or concerns, please feel free to reach out at anytime!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Mrs. Nicole Filiccia

REVISED - Maire Safety Schedule

We revised our Safety Schedule. Please follow the schedule on the link below.

Maire Revised Safety Schedule

Class Chaperone for a Movie In The Maire Gym!

We hope to meet our March is Reading Month Goal! If we have 75% or more participation in completing a March is Reading Month Bingo Card, the Maire Bears will have the opportunity to earn a school-wide movie in the Maire Gym! Students will bring their own beach towel and snack to the gym to view a movie.

Please consider joining us in the morning on March 24th at 9:30 to be a Classroom Chaperone in the Gym for a school wide movie! We would love to GIFT our Teachers with some extra time to get set up for the remainder of the school year! Your responsibilities would include: walking the assigned classroom to the Gym, stay with them during the duration of the movie and walk them back to class when the movie is over.

Please review the available slots on the sign up genius link. Thank you!

DRY CLOTHES NEEDED!

Please send in a set of dry clothes for your child. T-shirts, old shoes, sweat pants, under garments and /or socks. We have so many students, in ALL grades, come in from recess wet or muddy.

With the weather constantly changing, the field is always messy.

Thank You Maire PTO

A huge THANK YOU to the Maire PTO for sponsoring an incredible opportunity for our teachers and students! The Young Author's Assembly was awesome! The students were really engaged and excited the entire day! Please ask your child about their own personal experience with the program!
