OPES ANNUAL PUMPKIN CONTEST Time
Let’s Get Creative!
As part of our District-Wide United Way Campaign, OPES will hold its annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest beginning Monday, October 25th. 100% of the money collected will be contributed to the United Way Campaign on behalf of OPES.
A flyer was sent home with your student this week. Please send $5 cash in an envelope marked "Pumpkin Contest" with your child's name, by Friday, October 22nd.
Get creative, get busy, and bring your pumpkin to school on Monday, October 25th! Be sure to write your name on the bottom of your pumpkin! If we don't know who made it, we won't know if you won!
Our pumpkins will be on display inside the commons area for all students and staff to enjoy. Students will vote for their favorite pumpkin on Wednesday. The top 3 winners will be announced on Thursday and the winning pumpkins will be on display for all to see at our Fall Crawl that evening.
Can't wait to see what this year's contest brings!
**All pumpkins must be picked up by the end of the day on Thursday, October 28th. All remaining pumpkins will be disposed**
