What is copyright?

Copyright are rights granted to the author of their piece of work

Types of copyrights

Public Domain: It isn't protected by any copyrighted laws because it has it expired or they have donated their work. ex. music or Romeo and Juliet

Copyrighted work that you can give for free. ex. Itunes and windows media player.

Shareware

Shareware let's you use copyrighted work but only for a limited time. ex. games on the app store are only the short version of it.

It allows the purchaser to use it according to the license agreement. ex. most of the software you buy at stores would be consider all rights reserved

software that provides source code and the idea of improvement. ex add-ons, firefox and chrome
