Clemson University Youth Learning Institute developed the C-CATS program to give high school students a competitive advantage as they prepare for college.
C-CATS, Clemson’s Challenge for Academically Talented Students, has been a fixture in South Carolina for nearly a decade and is designed for high-achieving 9th and 10th grade students, focusing on college preparedness, scholarly challenges, and student life on campus. C-CATS introduces top-ranking students to Clemson University through exciting weekend adventures that engage them in the academic, social, and recreational opportunities offered at Clemson. Participants must be nominated by their school counselor.
Please nominate the students expected to be ranked in the top 10% of their class, whose academic records predict a score of 1300 or higher on the SAT, and who you think will benefit from this program. These students should be in 9th or 10th grade for the 2021-2022 school year.
See your school counselor if you wish to be considered.
