Four Types of Public Speaking

Persuasive speaking
This type of public speaking is done to convince an audience about a topic or topics. The goal is to change the opinion or sway someones point of view into a different perspective.
Informative speaking
This type of speech is done to impart information on a specific subject. An example of an informative speech would be a speech given before student enroll at a particular college.
Actuate Speaking
This type of specking is done to persuade the audience but go a step further and initiate the audience to act. The action is persuaded by the speakers motivation or powerful influence.
