Rise and Shine
What better way to start the day than breaking a sweat? Rise and Shine morning exercise is designed to get your students active and moving before even stepping in to their homeroom. The doors of the gym open at 7:20 and close at 7:35 with all students being released back to class at 7:45. Students must eat breakfast before coming to Rise and Shine.
1st grade is scheduled for Wednesday and Friday.
The schedule is as follows:
WEDNESDAYS: Kindergarten and 1st Grades (Tabata, Aerobics, Kickboxing, Zumba, Yogs)
FRIDAYS: Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd (Whole Group Games)

We have been learning how to communicate with our peers and work in collaborative groups. Please ask your child how they can be a collaborative partner and a respectful communicator. :0)

We will discuss character traits and how historical figures influenced change in America. We will continue to learn about each of historical figures listed over the next few weeks. Please continue to discuss these vocabulary words and historical figures throughout the school year as we will revisit them continually.
Math: We will be recognizing patterns in numbers and subitizing. We will deepen our understanding of number patterns by solving challenging math puzzles.
