Family Travel Update
If your child(ren) is traveling this holiday season, complete a Request for Approved Absence Form. Out of an abundance of caution, students who travel must refrain from in-person instruction.
In compliance with the district's Health and Safety Plan, students who travel will not be able to return for a period of 10 days without testing, or after 7 days with a negative test on or after day 5. Any questions about this procedure can be directed to Christine Stevens in the Gayman Office, at cstevens@cbsd.org.
Send in your Yearbook Photos
Let's capture the hard work of every Gayman student by uploading pictures of your student(s) at work and play. To access this Forms Survey, please follow the link and login through your student’s CBSD login.
For this month, upload photos from Halloween, Thanksgiving, or the Holiday season, or simply a photo of your child(ren) working hard. Thank you for helping us share in your child’s memories! Please email Jennifer Kersey, teacher and liaison to the GHSA Yearbook Committee, jkersey@cbsd.org with any questions.
Bucks County Housing Information
The holidays can be a financially difficult time - now with COVID-19, even more families will be effected this year.
If your family, or you know of a family who is homeless or being evicted, please call Bucks County Housing Link at 1-800-810- 4434. Families can also call for financial assistance if they are struggling with their housing bills.
Feel free to reach out to Liz Meier, our student support counselor at emeier@cbsd.org, if you have any questions about this information.
Live Streaming
Virtual instruction is available for any student who is absent more than 2 days.
Once a teacher is notified, we will make arrangements including a materials pick-up at school. Live streaming will begin on day 3 of the absence, or earlier if feasible. All core-academic instruction will be seen. However, this instruction may vary slightly depending upon the academic needs and age of the student. Note: knowing that the majority of students in the class are in-person, there will be times when the teacher is not in camera view.
Please contact your child's teacher to access to virtual instruction.
Questions about COVID-19?
As the COVID cases rise in the community, the Central Bucks Nurses are working hard to keep everyone healthy and safe. Our school nurse, Mrs. Sara Hedges, is here to help! If you have questions, feel free to email or call her. She can help with:
- Determine if your child(ren) is a close contact.
- Explain the isolation and quarantine process.
- Provide guidance for symptoms and management.
- And more! .... just ask.
Mrs. Sara Hedges email address is shedges@cbsd.org, or call the Gayman main office at 267-893-4350 to be connected to the Health Room.
Student Absences
Online Absences: If a student does not attend class, the student will be marked absent until we receive the communication from parents. Note: If a student logs-in initially, but leaves the call or does not engage, the comment "Virtually Cut" will be added to the comments section.
Feel free to reach out to Christine Stevens (cstevens@cbsd.org) with any questions.
