Thank you for a great school year!

We wish you a happy and safe summer!

We look forward to many of you returning in the fall. We will return to school on Wednesday, September 8th. Keep an eye on our website and ParentSquare (see below) for updated information.

ParentSquare - NEW BSD COMMUNICATION PLATFORM

BSD will be launching a new communication platform on June 28. It’s called ParentSquare. Curious about what it can do? Watch this short three-minute video. https://youtu.be/r4cu2M3z5u4

Keep in mind, ParentSquare will replace SchoolMessenger and any other texting/messaging apps like Remind or Talking Points that individual schools and teachers may be using. It won’t replace ParentVUE, StudentVUE, Canvas or Seesaw.

How would you like to receive messages from the district, your student’s school or teachers? Would you prefer a text, email, or an app notification? With ParentSquare, you can select your preferred channel and the message comes to you in your preferred language.

To learn more you can also, visit our webpage: https://www.beaverton.k12.or.us/parentsquare

2021 Summer Meal Program – June 28 - August 12

This summer, children can access free breakfasts and lunches through the federally-funded Summer Food Service Program sponsored by the Beaverton School District Nutrition Services Department. All children, ages 1 through 18 years, are eligible. There is no application or registration required. Parents or guardians may pick up meals for children who aren’t able to be present.

For more information, up-to-date serving times and a map of Summer Meal Service sites, visit the Summer Meal Service webpage.

Digital Summer Access

Looking for ways to stay digitally connected to learning this summer? Try some of these engaging and interactive digital activities with your student(s).

The Digital Summer Access website has tools for reading, math, science, PE and more.

Students will need their BSD username and password information to access many of these so be sure to get that information from your teacher before June 18.
