Message from the Principal
Hello Wildcat Families-
Another week in the books. Our students and teachers are doing AMAZING. Whether online or in person, our kids are learning and having fun. It's great to see.
We've had some questions about attendance calls. We've turned those alerts back on now that many of our students are back in the building. If your child is going to miss school, please let us know. This includes Wednesday morning meetings. Those are required meetings for all kids and are an important time for teachers to give students expectations for the day.
Families of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders- please note that as of right now, Tigard-Tualatin will be required to do some state testing this spring. That may include English Language Arts, Math and/or Science tests. We are working with the state and federal government trying to get permission NOT to do some of this. I'll keep you posted on our waiver and the timelines AND you will have the option of opting your child out if we do test. You can find the opt out form and TTSD info HERE.
Lastly, please note that our AM/PM hybrid, cohort start times are 7:50am and 12:05pm. Try not to get your student here too early, being that nobody is outside to supervise until about 5 minutes before we open doors.
Keep up the good work and thank you for all your support.
Mr. Blasquez/Mr. B, Principal
Mensaje del director
Hola familias Wildcat-
Otra semana terminada.
Sr. Blasquez / Sr. B, Director

Eviction Moratorium Resources
Culturally responsive multi-language eviction moratorium resources are now available!
Social media tiles & YouTube videos can be found HERE. Please note: this webpage can only be accessed using this link.
These materials are very timely due to the disproportionate impact that Black, Oregon Tribal Nations, and People of Color communities throughout our state have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Vulnerable community members face disproportionate risk of losing their homes and the pandemic could sharpen the inequalities low-income families and people of color communities already face.
These materials specifically cover Oregon’s new eviction moratorium in place from December 23, 2020 through June 30, 2021. The protections for renters under the current new statewide moratorium are not automatic. Renters must fill out and sign a sworn declaration of financial hardship and give it to their landlords. For more information, please read Oregon Law Center’s document on the New Statewide Eviction Moratorium. Feel free to use these materials however they are most helpful to get the word out. Oregon Housing and Community Services does not need credit. Please note that our agency does not provide legal advice. For unique inquiries a few partner organizations doing great work in this area include: the Oregon Law Center (https://oregonlawcenter.org/) Legal Aid Services (https://lasoregon.org/) and the Community Alliance of Tenants.
