Mrs. Kennedy's Thursday Letter
April 13, 2017
News and Info.
Mr. Miller came in today to introduce the Atlas Program food bags. This is a service project that we get to be a part of next week:) We are asking each family to prepare at least one of these bags. Please check your child's Red Folder for more information. Also, you can let me know if you need another bag or two if you choose to make more than one. The students are very excited about this!
Thanks for all your input on our Bird Costumes. PLEASE mark May 11th in your calendar's NOW. This is a month that fills up quickly.
I think we are going with long sleeve colorful t-shirts with a boa attached to make wings. Mrs. DeHoff has asked for them to wear a straw like hat. I have found these (plastic to look like straw) on Oriental Trading in the past. Does anyone have any more ideas to add to these? Do I have a bargin shopper out there who would be willing to do some price checking for me?
If you do not have a church home or would just like to visit, I would love to have you and your family be a part of our service at North Boulevard Church of Christ this Sunday ( well, any Sunday!) Our times are at 8am and 10:15. A fun Easter Egg hunt is planned during what is normally class time. Let me know if you will be joining us and I will look for you!
Happy Easter!
