Nauset High School Principal Search
January 13, 2022
Search Committee Timeline and Request for Committee Volunteers
The search process for the future Nauset Regional High School Principal is currently underway. We look forward to working collaboratively with Nauset High School staff, families, students, and committee/community members in filling this position.
Your input on the most important qualities and leadership skills of the next NRHS Principal is important. We invite you to share your voice through our Principal Search Survey, which will remain open until January 20, 2022. Results of the survey will remain confidential.
We are actively seeking search committee volunteers representing Nauset High School staff, parents, students, and committee/community members. At this time, search committee meetings will be conducted virtually. This may change at some point in the process, pending the preferences of the committee members and candidates.
Every search committee volunteer must be able to meet on all dates and times as listed in the Search Process Timeline. In the event that there are more interested volunteers than spots available, search committee participants will be chosen to represent diverse perspectives and then by random lottery.
The search committee will review application materials and conduct interviews with qualified candidates. Information derived from all surveys will be included in the process as final candidates are determined. Opportunities will be provided to meet the finalists during site visits (virtual or in-person).
The Search Process Timeline is included below with the estimated date of completion expected mid-to-late February 2022. Dr. Robin Millen, Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and Mary Buchanan, Director of Student Services will co-facilitate the search process with the assistance of Human Resources.
Thank you for your interest and involvement in this important process.
