Planting the Seeds of 16-17
I have been doing some reading....from Ron Clark, of course. One quote struck me from his book, Move Your Bus, that alludes to self reflection. "From the youngest student to the most senior administrator, every individual is seeking to accomplish more, to do better, and to succeed at the task before him."
What a quote when thinking about planting seeds for next school year....how can I accomplish more or do better.....I encourage you to think of one thing. Maybe this will be your SLO for next year or just a personal goal. When considering your goal for next year, find something that will "make a big difference in our school, to inspire others" or help them become more academically successful or reach a new plateau in their art or music.
Start slow....you have time! Find something and set your mind to get better! This will move us as whole. When people strive to get better, the organization benefits.
