Reach out.
Dear LLC Families,
Last month, I wrote to you and stated that we were all in this together. As I write to you today, I have a different perspective on what this means. What I have learned during this time is that although we are all experiencing this pandemic, not all of us are experiencing it in the same way. While it is true that we are all in this together and enduring the same storm, it is a passing shower for some, and for others, it is heavy rain with blistering winds that won't let up. Every one of us is living or fighting through this situation very differently and that is why it is more important than ever that we find ways to stay connected.
Some of us are thankful for being healthy. Others are praying for loved ones as they fight for their lives. Worse still, others have had to say goodbye to loved ones through the use of technology.
Some of us are fortunate to work and are merely affected by the frustration of social distancing. Others are living their worst financial crisis, struggling to pay bills and put food on the table. Some of us have a family at home and are enjoying this time together. Others are alone. We may all be in this together but each one of us is living a different truth, a different struggle, and a different heartache.
At LLC, we welcome you to reach out to us for anything, so we can do our best to help. Wherever you are and whoever you are, reach out. Reach out if you can help. Reach out if you need help. Reach out if you know how to help. Share your struggles with others. Share your fortunes with others. It is how we will overcome this together.
My Heart is Full.
