About the show...
On December 7th 2022, Avon East Elementary 2nd Graders will be performing the snowy and spectacular "On With the Snow!" by John Jacobsen and John Higgins.
If cold weather makes you shiver to and fro, you'll love our COOL show about friendship and SNOW! Learn how real warmth starts from within and can spread like a blizzard when shared with a song! This 25-minute winter musical features five festive songs and rhyming dialogue. Second graders, it is YOUR time to shine!

Concert Day Important Logistics
Guests:
ALL ARE WELCOME!
There will be a girls basketball game versus Avon Lake on December 7th at the high school as well, so PLEASE CARPOOL with your families and guests if possible to free up some parking lot space. See you there!
Arrival Logistics:
- Use the PAC entrance, arriving 30 minutes before your student's performance time.
- Take a bathroom break if needed before coming backstage.
- Students will report to their teacher in the vestibule area to the far right side of the PAC lobby (this will be clearly labeled for you on concert day). Backstage: students only.
- Once your child is with their teacher, you are welcome to grab a program enter the PAC to find your seat in the auditorium.
Attire
Dress in your "snowy best!"...white and a scarf.
Students are invited to wear white tops/dresses and any color bottoms to set the scene for a snowy show. You may wear a winter scarf/snowy accessories etc (any color).
Please keep your winter boots, gloves, hats at home so you don't get too toasty on stage.
FAQs
- Can I wear a sweater/jacket over white shirt?..........Yes.
- What shoes should I wear?..........Wear whatever shoes you feel comfortable enough to stand on risers, sing, and dance your best.
- Can my white shirt have a pattern/picture/words?..........Sure, your shirt can be "mostly" white. For example, your shirt can have a snowflake, snowman, penguin, even some plaid or polka dots.
- Can I wear a necklace/accessories?..........Yes- you are welcome to accessorize however you'd like (as long as it is not light up/noise making). For example: scarf, snowflake necklace, bracelet, tie/bowtie, headband
- Short sleeves or long sleeves?..........either. Please wear whatever sleeve length you will be comfortable performing in.
- Can I wear a Christmas costume (elf outfit, reindeer headband, etc)?..........We are going to focus on our winter theme, please save your Christmas specific attire for the upcoming December spirit week!
- Should I wear my concert outfit to school?..........No, you do not need to wear your concert outfit to school. You can go home and change before the show.
