Note from Admin Team
Greetings Wildcat Families!
We hope you had a wonderful week week! Last week was a great week at Trailridge highlighted by our first annual Spring Wildcat Engagement Night. We had an unbelievable attendance and beautiful weather. It was awesome seeing our community come together to provide resources, free books, food as well as fun activities. A special thank you to our Caring for Kids partners, PTA and TMS staff members who helped ensure our night was a success.
With the announcement from Dr. Hubbard on Friday, we are officially within the last 3 weeks of school. Each week has a big Trailridge event and we are looking forward to finishing the year out strong. This Thursday we are hosting our 6th Grade Olympics. On that same day, our 8th grade students will be traveling to SMNW for additional orientation information. On Thursday, May 12th, we will host our Honors and Awards Ceremony at SMNW. This ceremony is for any current Trailridge student who has met the criteria for an award this year. Invitations will be sent out this week. May 19th, will be our last day for students and we have a celebration day planned for all of our students that day.
This week is also our teacher appreciation week. As you know, we are truly fortunate to have such a kind and committed staff to serve our students each day. They work tirelessly throughout the year and this is a chance for us to show our appreciation. Teaching is hard, but this past year has been tougher than normal. Please see the flyer below on what PTA has planned. I would also encourage you to find a kind way to show your appreciation for your student's teachers.
Lastly, as we end the year, please continue to encourage your students to finish the year out on a positive note both academically and behaviorally. This is the time of year where it is easy for our students to slip into "summer mode" a bit early. It is crucial that we work together to finish the year out strong and on a positive note.
Have a great rest of your weekend!
Matt, Jeanette and Jake
