New Lunch Process Requires Parents Assistance
Hello Sprague and Half Day Parents,
We are instituting new procedures and need your help once more to assist our staff in delivering free lunches to your children in an expeditious manner.
To help streamline the lunch process at Sprague and Half Day school, we will now have families opt-in for lunch on a trimester basis. There will be no changes at Daniel Wright. If you do not fill out this form, our school lunch provider, Quest, will not provide a free lunch for your child. The first trimester change will start at Sprague and Half Day on Monday, August 30, 2021. The end of the first trimester will be November 19, 2021. If you opt-in to the free lunch program for the first trimester, your child will receive a lunch everyday. If there is a particular meal your child does not like, please send your child with a lunch from home that day. Once again we are asking you to choose the type of lunch for your child for the entire trimester. In order for your child to choose a Gluten Free or Gluten Free Vegetarian option, you must provide documentation from their pediatrician for our files. The options will include:
Regular (may include beef, chicken, or turkey, NO pork)
Vegetarian
Gluten Free
Gluten Free Vegetarian
Each meal must come with milk. The choices are:
Chocolate milk
White milk
Please complete the “Lunch Opt-In Form” in your Unified Classroom account by Friday, August 27 at 12:00 p.m. If you have questions, please email Vicky Shargo at vshargo@questfms.com or Rebecca Cohen at rebecca.cohen@questfms.com.
