Click here for the entire resource. It's also available in Spanish.
Now that we know the basics, let's move on to Buying a home.
This week let's look at LESSON 1: Are you ready?
Community Resources
Community organizations are a great place to find helpful resources, places that can help us with sometimes difficult situations. Community organizations depend on volunteers to help provide those resources. ONE of the very real ways to become part of a community is to become a volunteer within that community. You interact, speak and assist those living in your own backyard. Volunteering is a great way to practice our skills and also can be a great way to look for future employment.
This week, let's take a look at Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. moves people in need toward self-sufficiency. In the 2015-2016 fiscal year, 40,759 people were served by Catholic Charities in Southwest Florida. A representative from Catholic Charities will be visiting Lorenzo Walker Technical College this Friday, April 21st in Mustang Alley from 11:00 AM to Noon.
