Dwarf Planets

What is a Dwarf Planet?
You may know about Pluto. It's a planet in our solar system. WRONG! It is now what we call a Dwarf Planet. A Dwarf planet has the same characteristics of a normal planet but, it has what most scientists say "They haven't cleared there neighborhood" which means they don't have enough gravity to hold its own. Most are very icy from how far away they are to the sun.
Our Dwarf Planets
Pluto is the most known Dwarf Planet. It is in the kuiper belt. That is a asteroid belt with many icy things. Pluto is half the size of the earths moon. One day on Pluto is 6 and a 1/2 days on earth (That is 156 hours). Now like Pluto there are also other Dwarf Planets in the milky way. There are 4 more and there names are Ceres, Eris, Makemake, Haumea. Out of these five i'd say that Pluto is my favorite, because it's gone through so much and i think it should still be a planet.
