Art
Congratulations to Andre V in 1st grade for having his dot exploration multi-media artwork chosen for Plano ISD art show! Congratulations also goes out to 3rd grade artists in the A or Alligator group. These artists collaborated and created a faux glass Chihuly tower! These artists are amazing!

Our Wells Kindness Card Finalists have been selected! Second graders, Fourth Graders, and fifth graders all designed a card around Kindness and here are the artists representing Wells:

First Graders started their journey through art with their very own Art Passport Journal! Perfect place to sketch and work on techniques and skills!

Music
Our Wells 1st and 2nd graders have been practicing in class for our optional Flags of Honor Opening Ceremony event on Nov 5th. https://planoflagsofhonor.com/november-5/
Our 3rd graders have been preparing songs for their Veterans program on Nov 10th at 6 pm and Nov 11th at 8:15 am. Any Wells student can honor a veteran by sending a picture of them via digital file to Mrs. Mashburn @ Shonda.mashburn@pisd.edu. The deadline for this is November 4th, 2022. All Wells students can also invite a veteran to come to either performance.
Dallas Stars Sing for Santa! The Dallas Stars are hosting a Sing for Santa event on Tuesday, December 6th for a 7:30 pm game, headlined by a special performance by our 4th and 5th graders. Wells 4th and 5th graders will perform on the plaza at 6 PM before the game starts.
Each 4th and 5th-grade performer will receive one complimentary ticket to the game and a free stars Santa hat. Additional tickets for family and friends for section 320 are available for purchase -- $20 each. Tickets and the Santa hats will be delivered to our school before the game on Nov 29th and sent home in the students' orange folders on Nov 30th.

PE
October was full of fun and fitness in PE! We started the month with our pre FitnessGram test with our 3rd-5th graders and eye-hand coordination with our Kinder-2nd graders. The end of the month we worked our core muscles with all grade-levels while working on teamwork with our parachute unit.
