Need To Know
English Summer Reading: Students must read the book for their upcoming grade level 2020-2020. Click here to read the English Department Memo concerning the summer reading requirements and complete the accompanying study guide. The study guide questions will be due upon our return (in-person or virtual) to school in the fall. Classroom teachers will be spending the first weeks of the school year discussing the summer reading book and the first major written assignment for each grade will be based on this text. Please note Fifteen Dogs and The White Tiger are available online through amazon.ca; The Marrow Thieves is available online through indigo.ca. All three books may be purchased in either paperback and e-book format. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email the department chair, Liana Palko, at palkol@selwyn.ca

Argyle Shop/School Uniform Announcement: We encourage returning parents in need of any uniform items to use our online order form available on our website. Email Irina should you have any questions kondratievai@selwyn.ca. New parents will be contacted in the coming weeks to set up an appointment during the last week in August at The Argyle Shop in order to have your son ready with the school uniform for the 2020-21 school year.
Fall Gryphon Sale 2020: The next Gryphon Sale will be taking on a new format to ensure all safety and social distancing guidelines are respected. All donated articles of clothing will be washed or, in the case of the blazers, steam cleaned. Click here for more information
Book & Equipment drop off - Week of June 15: During the week of June 15, there will be Drop-Off and Pick-Up Days. These will be run in a similar fashion to the Pick Up of locker contents a few weeks back. The Drop Off will take place in Coristine Hall for all three divisions of the school. We will be setting up the same system as last time for you to choose your day and time to come. The link for this will be in the Update on Thursday, June 11. Please click here to read the letter with more information.
