Tuesday, October 31, 2023, Report Cards Issued
All students & staff can dress up for Halloween. Costumes must follow the dress code policy.
No hats, hoods, masks, weapon look alikes or face paint. If you are in doubt that your costumes is school appropriate, please check with your school counselor or administrator.
Monday, November 6, 2023, NO SCHOOL
Friday, November 3, 2023, 7th & 8th Grade Dance
The dance is from 5 - 7 PM in the gymnasium. The cost of each ticket is $5. Tickets will be sold during lunch periods next week.
If you would like to chaperone or volunteer, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You must be a student at JWMS to attend.
Tuesday, November 7, 2023, NO SCHOOL - Professional Learning
Practice everyday, Monday through Friday 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
6th, 7th, & 8th Grade, Boys and Girls are welcome to join the team! ALL athletes must be passing 5 out of 7 subjects for participation. 6th Graders can practice only, no competition matches allowed.
Students will need - Shorts and T-shirt or sweats and long sleeves. Wrestling shoes and knee pads are recommended.
*Students need to have an approved VHLS sports physical on file at the SBO, an athletic handbook turned into Coach Perry.
November 9th, 10th & 11th
8th Grade: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
7th Grade: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

The JWMS FFA is selling fruit, meat, and a variety of great items through October 31, 2023.
You can place your order through an FFA member or AG student. You can also contact the school at 540- 667-7500 and ask for the AG Department. Please click here to view the order form.

Infinite Campus Update
Parents/guardians should have received an email from email@example.com with an activation code and instructions for creating your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. If you have not yet received that email, please be patient, you should be receiving it soon. The Infinite Campus Parent Portal provides real-time access to student schedules, grades, assignments and more. If you have issues creating your account, please email ParentPortalSupport@fcpsk12.net. In order for us to serve you better, please include your name, your child’s name and the school your child attends when emailing support.
Report cards will be available to view via the Infinite Campus Portal beginning on October 31, 2023. Instructions on how to access reports will be made available.
FCPS will continue to send out activation emails to those without active Infinite Campus Parent Portal accounts. This will be the last weekly update regarding the Parent Portal. Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to implement the new student information system.
