LIFE AS A SOUTHERN PLANTER
I am a slave. I live in Virginia. My family has 30 black slaves and I am quite wealthy. But it depends on my slaves. My slaves is tobacco planter, so their life is very difficult because the hardest work. We need plant, harvest, dry, pack.. final we get it off for sale. There is also still a lot of protest from the poor farmers (rabble), they unemployed.
LIFE AS A FARMER
I am a part of a farming family with a poor land. I live in Massachusetts. Last year, I am crop failed and I have to borrow money to buy food and items for myself. I have a big debt, I owe the bank. On top of this problem, I didn't pay my state taxes because it too high, I'm so worried. I cannot stand the Shay's Rebellion because it make our life so difficult. I hope a national (federal) government can make our life better, reduce tax.
LIFE AS A WORKER
I am a shoemaker. I live in Manchester, New Hampshire. I work in a small group and i have my own tools. But i had to go into debt for $50 to buy my tools when i went into this line of work after Revolutionary War.
