Donate to Cada Familia, our ongoing giving fund that enables PTSA to provide support and programs including tech licenses, library books, arts education, classroom supplies. You can set up monthly or one-time donations through PayPal here.
We know this school year is going to look different than years past and many of us are feeling a mixture of excitement and concern. We hope that PTSA is one way we can all stay connected and support each other - students, teachers and families - during these times. Thank you in advance for your support!

Food Distribution Update
Note: OUSD will NOT be distributing meals the week of August 3-7th
Major Shift In Federal and State Guidelines for Picking Up Meals:
Now that the school year is starting, there is a new federal requirement that we can only distribute food to students who are actually registered and enrolled in OUSD schools.
Each time adults pick up food at a distribution center, they must “verify” or prove their child’s enrollment by providing their child’s Aeries student ID#. We realize this is going to be a challenge.
What are we doing to address this issue?
OUSD's Nutrition Services department is sending letters home the week of August 3rd which explain the new rules and includes student ID#s and a scannable barcode that will allow them to quickly get processed at a food distribution center. In addition, OUSD will send out robocalls with this information to families..
In order to pick up food and verify their child’s enrollment, parents must do one of the following:
Bring their letter sent by Nutrition Services during the week of August 3rd, which includes their child’s ID# and a scannable barcode
Wait in a separate line and have their child’s information looked up in a district database at the food distribution site (this will be a slow process and we highly recommend families bring a copy of their letter).
NOTE: Technology Services is going to print new ID cards for all students, but they will not be available by August 10th. Until permanent ID cards are distributed, families will need to use their copy of the letter to quickly pick up food.
