Greece and Rome
Joyce Lee Pd. 7
Mythology
The people of Greece first worshiped 12 gods. They were Aphrodite, Ares, Artemis, Poseidon, Hades, Zeus, Apollo, Athena, Hera, Dionysus, Demeter, and Hermes. When Rome took over, they changed their more peaceful personalities into war gods. Some had changed names, and others did not, they were called Juno, Jupiter, Minerva, Vesta, Ceres, Diana, Venus, Mars, Neptune, Vulcan, Mercury, and Apollo.
Contributions
Both the Greeks and Romans have made many contributions to our modern day society, such as snow globes, democracy, aqueducts, concrete, and many more.
