Jana Pittman
Jana Pittman was born on the 9th of November 1982 in Sydney New South Wales. Jana has won two gold medals in the World Championships for the 400m hurdles. Four gold medals in the Commonwealth games two for the 400m hurdles and two for the 4x400m relay race. Two gold medals at the World Junior Championship one for the 400m hurdles and one for the 400m and one at the youth championships for the 400m hurdles. Jana is one of only nine people to win the youth, junior and senior level of an athletic event. In the 2012 Olympics she finished 5th. After retiring from the 400m hurdles Jana tried boxing and rowing before deciding to do bobsleigh. In Germany 2013 Jana finished 7th, an Australian bobsled record. In the 2013/2014 season Jana finished in 12th place. Jana's partner in the event was her training partner on the track (Astrid Radjenovic). This year she will be the first Australian woman, and only second Australian to compete in both summer and winter olympics.
