Richmond Drive Elementary

It's April!!
It's extremely important our students continue to read every night at home. Our younger students need to practice reading to grow as readers, while our older students need to prepare for SC READY testing by building stamina by reading for longer periods of time. Parents, we need your help in this area. Ask your child to share what they have read after they finish reading . You may also want to take time to be a role model and read while your child is reading each night.
As the days get longer, we all need to stick to our schedules and continue to get rest each night. A consistent bed time is important in maintaining good work habits during the day.
I appreciative all you as parents and staff every day to help our children become college and career ready by learning all required at each grade.
Congratulations to our Battle of the Books Team
