A hands-on approach to learning how to make your own tea! Learn about this ancient and nutritious drink and sample teas you can make at home! All teas are healthy, mild, and great for kids of all ages. Tracy Lee Gilchrist,
owner of Summit Valley Farm’s Natural Wellness Studio, will lead this program.
Mom & Me Yoga

Age Level: Pre K – Grade 5
Spend a relaxing hour with your child! Moms and their children can attend this special yoga session to celebrate Mother’s Day. Tracy Lee Gilchrist, a certified yoga teacher and owner of Summit Valley Farm’s Natural Wellness Studio, will lead the group.

Cookbook Club

Our cookbook for this May is The Best Recipes in the World: More than 1,000 International Dishes to Cook at Home by Mark Bittman. If you would like to join, register online and then drop by the Harmony Library to pick up a copy of the book.
Tuesday Movie Matinee
Tuesday, May 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2 p.m., Glocester Manton Library
Tuesday Matinees offer new feature films on the big screen. Registration is not necessary and the movies are free. Light refreshments are served. Bring a friend! The films include:

Fearless Art Group
Wednesday, May 8 and May 22, 2 p.m., Glocester Manton Library
During the month of May, the group will continue to explore using colored pencil. We are concentrating on birds. Everyone is welcome to join us. Materials will be supplied, but if you have your own pencils, colored and graphite, please bring them.
Ukulele Workshop for Beginners
Wednesday, May 8, 15, 22, 29, June 5 and June 12, 6 p.m., Glocester Manton Library
Musician and teacher, Tripp Hutchinson, invites you to learn how to play the ukulele. This six-week beginner workshop will get you playing the ukulele by the end of the first class. Music and instructional materials will be provided. Ukuleles will be provided; however, four ukuleles will be available for loan on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Intermediate Ukulele Workshop

This intermediate level ukulele six-week workshop is designed for those players who have been strumming for a bit and feel comfortable with some of the basic ukulele techniques. Writers' Support Group

Crochet Group

Beginners and crocheters who are more advanced can learn and share their experience in a comfortable room for crochet and conversation! Ashley Ledoux, an experienced crocheter, will teach beginners and be available for assistance and advice.
Beekeeping 101

Join URI Master Gardener Deb Brodie for a presentation about beekeeping. In addition to explaining the best ways to preserve bee habitat, she will also describe how bees live and work and how beekeepers are trying their best to keep them alive. Deb is an avid beekeeper herself. Come with your questions!
