The Family Business Association Vancouver Island (FBAVI) is pleased to receive nominations for the 2019 Family Business Excellence (FBE) Award and the Young Entrepreneur Award.
The awards will be presented at the FBAVI Awards Gala @ The Union Club, Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Past family business recipients: Titan Boats; DriveWise BC: Tru Value Foods; Wilson’s Transportation; Canada Homestay Network; Capital Iron; Country Grocer; McCall Brothers; Pacific Sands Resort; Robinson's Outdoor Store; Monk Office and Accent Inns.
Do you know of an outstanding young entrepreneur? (Self-nominations encouraged!).
This category was new in 2018 and Daisy Klaibert received the award.

Nomination Guidelines
Family Business Excellence (FBE) Award
A Family Business who has for the past five years been registered in Canada. They must be a family owned, private company, or a public company controlled by an individual or family. The company can operate internationally, but the head office must be in Canada. Self-nominations will be accepted. Open to FBAVI members and non-members.
Young Entrepreneur Award
An individual 35 years of age or younger who has been actively involved in a Vancouver Island Family Business for a minimum of three years. Open to FBAVI members and non-members.
Selecting Award Recipients
Nominees will be asked if they chose to accept the nomination and if so, they will receive an application form. An FBA Awards Committee will select the award recipients who will be announced on January 3, 2019.
