Information about DNA and RNA
Preety cool stuff of DNA.
What is DNA.
DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid, a self replicating material present in nearly all living organisms.
Where is DNA located?
It's located at the nucleus inside a chromosome.
What is it made out of?
DNA is made out of repeating units called nucleotide. Each nucleotide contains sugar and phosphate. The bases are adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C) and thymine (T).
What is DNA's structure?
DNA is a double helix formed by sugar phosphate backbone.
DNA sequences must be converted into messages that can be used to produce proteins, which are the complex molecules that do most of the work in our bodies.
Heredity
Replication
DNA replication is copying of two identical replicas of DNA.

What is Rna?
Ribonucleic acid, a nucleic acid present in all living cells.
Types of RNA
tRNA rRNA mRNA
What does RNA do?
RNA is involved as a carrier of information, and as a catalyst for the synthesis of the peptide bond.
