Weekly Tech Tips:

Grades 5-12 Portfolios Tip:

Once students have completed their portfolio set up, entering an item from the Google Drive is easy.

Students will have a portfolio folder in their Drive. All they need to do is click and drag the item into this folder, and it will show on their portfolio.

If you are unsure of how to do any portfolio-related item, or even just want to make sure you are understanding it, email Tammy.

New Window in Skyward:

You can open a new window in Skyward if you need to look something up and don't want to close the window you are in. In the toolbar by your print queue is a link called "New Window." If you click on it, you will open a new Skyward window where you can look up the needed information.

Helpful Link of the Week:

EdPuzzle is a free website, iPad app, and Chrome app that allows a teacher to share videos with students. Videos can be made by the teacher, from YouTube, or from many other sources. There is a video search in the program. Students use a code to join the teacher's class. The teacher can then see whether students have watched the videos, and what parts the students have viewed. The teacher can also enter questions in a video and see student results instantly for multiple-choice questions.
