Texas Lions Club Summer Camps
TLC will once again be offering TLC-4-Families in 2022. Registration for Camp will open on January 3, 2022 and continue until all sessions are full.
Building upon the success and popularity of our Family Camp program last year, TLC will once again be offering families the opportunity to build memories together within the camp environment. If you are new to the concept, TLC will provide each family their own, private facility that will be theirs throughout their stay. The schedule is designed to accommodate those who need a short, weekday stay or those who prefer a "weekender" away from home.
Come and enjoy the many activities TLC has to offer in a fun and upbeat environment as our world-class, TLC staff creates an environment of family fun and adenture as only they can do. We are excited to welcome you to Kerrville, wether you are new or returning as a TLC family.
Don't miss out - make your plans to attend and open your registration on January 3, 2022 until sessions are full.

A Message from Your Parent Educators
Dear Parents,
Summer is almost here! As we come to an end of a successful school year, I wanted to send a big thank you for all of your support this school year. I hope that everyone has a fantastic summer break and it has truly been a pleasure serving as one the parent educators this school year. I have enjoyed helping parents navigate the world of special education and getting to know many families within our school district this year. I am looking forward to what the upcoming school year will bring. The summer break can get very busy while enjoying our family and friends, but please remember self-care is extremely important and make sure to take a little time for yourself. Parenting a child with special needs is not easy, especially over a long break from school, but I find when I take care of myself, I am a better parent and can be 100% for my child. I hope that everyone has lots of fun in the sun and gets lots of rest to prepare for school to start back in August!
Kindly,
Ruth Roberts

Dear Parents & Guardians,
It has been a truly unique school year, fast-paced and even a little wild at times, but we have made it to the finish line for the 2021-22 School Year. Take a little time to relax and rejuvenate in preparation for a new adventure. Whether you spend your summer break on academic endeavors or on social ones, I hope that you take the time to make beautiful memories. It doesn’t take much to make a beautiful memory. Maybe those memories come through a mini walk around the block on a warm summer evening. Or maybe you have the opportunity to take a big trip after our time spent on COVID lockdown. Whatever it is you choose to do, take the time to cherish each and every moment. It is a privilege and honor to serve the families and students of Killeen ISD and I look forward to continuing to serve you.
Happy Summer All,
Jsanean R. Mark
