REMOTE LEARNING AFTER WINTER BREAK
Dr. Rath's Corner
Greetings Wildcat Families!
Happy December. I hope all families are doing well and staying healthy. We will miss our Wildcats over the long winter break. We look forward to starting up our second semester on January 5th. Thank you to all the Wildcat families that purchased online school store items. We had so much success with our school spirit orders that we do have some items on back order, so some of your items may be delayed. We will open a new online school store the second week in January with another new logo if you missed out.
We have great news for King Science:
- We have been selected as a new COVID Saliva testing site for Omaha Public Schools. More information to come when we return back to school.
- Dr. Contreras and King Science were selected for a STEM Research Grant from Society & Science for the public. Way to go!
- Mr. Galdamez has made a connection with a new community partnership for science. More information to come.

Important Note from the School Nurse Mrs. Anderson
Parents/Guardians:
It is important to have students compliant with Nebraska's immunization requirements for school age children. Please be sure the school nurse has the most up-to-date immunization records. Please note, the state regulations are for all students regardless of whether they are participating in school in person or remotely. Also, Nebraska requires physical exams for students entering 7th grade and physical exams including a vision exam for students transferring in from out of state. Parents/Guardians can call the school nurse at 531-299-2381 if assistance is needed with obtaining the necessary vaccination.
