Professional Development
Dr. Lohr presented a professional development on cueing systems and identifying student reading needs based on mCLASS MOY assessments.
Data Dive
Teachers reviewed student MOY mCLASS data and worked to analyze miscues. They then created a data folder that grouped their students based on proficiency, growth, M, S, V miscues, and comprehension.

Data Analysis
Teachers spent time in their data folder, noticing student needs and groups and talked with colleagues about their students.
Plan for Instruction
Each teacher selected an area of need that they saw in their classroom and spent time creating a database of reading strategies, teaching points, and resources for each area. Books in the professional library were utilized as resources, including Word Callers and The Comprehension Toolkit.
