You are surrounded by hundreds of buildings, and bright lights shine brightly, you are in the City of Shanghai. Shanghai is China’s biggest city. It is also the world’s leading shopping mall. Shanghai has an interesting modern culture. There is lots of old architecture too. Also interesting modern buildings. Tours are highly recommended by lots of people. In conclusion you should go to Shanghai.

Empress Wu Zetian

Have you ever heard of Empress Wu Zetian? She was the only Empress to rule China in all of history. She lived for eighty one years. She was born in 624 and died in 705. Empress Wu ruled for over 50 years. She founded her own dynasty called the Zhou dynasty. Wu was also called Wu Zhou after her dynasty. In conclusion Empress Wu is one of the best historical figures in history.

Fenghuang

Imagine yourself in a town on stilts, it is very relaxing and peaceful this is the town Fenghuang. There is over 200 homes. Also it takes over 4 hours to get there. Fenghuang was built in the Ming dynasty. The town is 1,300 years old. The admission price is about $23 U.S. dollars. Fenghuang means phoenix in Chinese. If you like to go backpacking and visiting new places you should go to Fenghuang.

Zhangjiajie

Huge pillars tower over you as you look up at them, you are at Zhangjiajie. Zhangjiajie is a place with over three thousand sand pillars. The pillars are made up of sand quartz. The tallest pillar is 400 meters high or 1,312 feet. People renamed one of the pillars Mount Halleluja. The admission price is about $20 U.S. dollars. This site is almost like China’s Grand Canyon. This is why you should go to Zhangjiajie.

The Xia Dynasty

Have you ever heard of the Xia dynasty? The Xia dynasty was the first dynasty in China. It ended after 500 years. Yu the Great was the first Emperor in the Xia dynasty. He also started the abdication system. The last emperor to rule was Emperor Jie. He was very cruel and killed his ministers even the ones who had good ideas. In conclusion the Xia dynasty had interesting people.

The Benxi Water Cave

At the Benxi water cave there is thousands of different colors that is worth seeing. You can take tours there too for only $3 U.S. dollars. The Benxi water cave is an underground river with stalagmites. It has lots of colors in the tunnel. It was formed 5 million years ago. It is the longest underground river. Also it is 50 degrees fharenheight and it is recommended to wear warm clothing. This is why you should go to the Benxi Water Cave.
