This week we are featuring some of the amazing art work done by our students this semester!
Thursday is the BIG DAY and we look forward to all the family and friends. Students are expected to stay at school for the entire day. We will be serving them dinner. All of the students need to wear a solid black shirt and long black pants.

Conservatory Prep rehearsals are in full swing with daily sessions for the end of term Academic Review. The students are going an excellent job!
SENIOR OF THE WEEK...Rand Hinds
Rand has been attending Conservatory Prep Schools since the 11th grade. Her favorite thing to do is to play guitar. She is currently working two jobs in efforts to add to her college fund. She enjoys working at TCBY where she was recently promoted to the rank of team leader. This summer she is also going to be a camp counselor Parks Martial Arts Studio. Looking back at her high school experiences, Rand states "My favorite thing was finding a home at Conservatory Prep." Her fondest memories of her time at CPSHS, were the time when she made went on the College Road trip with her fellow seniors and The educational experiential learning trip to Mexico. In Rand's words "Mexico was cool."
Rand will be attending UCF in the fall, where she explore all of the opportunities college has to offer. We are very proud of you Rand and we all wish you the all very best in your future endeavors!!!!

Digital Portfolios Coming to Conservatory Prep Schools
Most of the research on the implementation of electronic portfolios has been in higher eduction. Most of the customized e-portfolio tools, both commercial and open source, have been created in and for higher education. Conservatory Prep will begin the use of ePortfolios, adapted for the different culture secondary schooling, and focusing on formative, classroom-based assessment for learning, which prior research has shown to be the best way to improve student achievement (Black & Wiliam, 1998).
National Honor Society Induction
On Thursday May 14th, at 8:30AM Conservatory Prep's National Honor Society inducted Rand Hinds, Ashley Press and Braeden Schultze. congratulations to all.
End of Term Academic Review
Please make sure to send in your money to attend the Academic Review/Graduation is turned in by Friday May 15th. The cost is $25 per person and includes dinner.
