MAKERSPACE AT LINCOLN SCHOOL
Using students imagination to create, make, and build
Our reveal day is coming soon and we need YOUR help!
Teachers, staff, and families, please join us to put together a space for Lincoln students! NCSD was fortunate to win a grant from our Lowe's in Macedon to build Makerspaces for Perkins, Lincoln, and Kelley School! We will be un-boxing and assembling pieces to be ready for our students to use to create, make, and build!!
What is a Makerspace?
A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside our Media Centers (Libraries) for making, learning, exploring and sharing that use high tech to no tech tools. We will have a 3D Printer in each Media Center along with robots that can be coded and programmed. Students will also be able to create anything from cardboard, duct tape, and many other materials.
