Bullying is an aggressive behavior that is intentional and involves an imbalance of power or strength.Bullying is repeated over time and can take many forms, such as hitting, punching, or shoving teasing, taunting, name-calling ,intimidation using gestures, spreading rumors or social exclusion
Nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 have had it happen more than once.
Nearly 35% of kids have been threatened online and almost one in five have had it happen more than once.
About 21% of kids have received mean or threatening e-mails.
- Less children are expressing feelings of low self esteem and bigger percentage of them are expressing the desire to remain survivors and winners in the battle against bullying and cyber bullying.
- More parents are allowing their young children to undergo plastic surgery to combat bullying.

- About 27 percent of teens put a fake age in their profiles online.
- About 28 percent have had a stranger contact them through an online channel.
- twenty five percent of young people pretend that they are older than they are to get an online account
- Five percent of teens have admitted to arranging a secret meeting with someone that they have met online
- Almost twenty nine percent of parents allow their children to use the internet with no supervision
It is important for we as young teens to know that we have to be safe online and we have to make sure we are cautious about other people.
