Important Dates

January 9-20 - Winter Testing

January 9 - Board of Education Meeting 7:00 PM at Smith

January 12 - Late Start Day - School starts at 11:32, PTO Meeting 4:00 PM at Heritage

January 16 - No School!

January 27 - End of 1st Semester, Bible Release

January 30 - No School for Students, Teacher work day

January 31 - Start of 3rd Period

Late Start is Thursday January 12

School Starts at 11:32 a.m.

Please remain in the lobby area until 11:25 a.m. Bell will ring for students to enter hallways at 11:25 a.m.

Cold Weather is here!

If the "feels like" temperature is 5 deg or above we will go outside for recess. If the "feels like" temperature is below 5 deg, we will stay in.

Be sure to check and keep a supply of gloves, hats, coat, boots, and snow pants for your student everyday in their backpacks.

Morning Drop Off/Afternoon Pick Up

As a reminder, we ask that all parents remain in the lobby area before the bell rings at 8:52 and before the bell rings at 3:45 at the end of the day. Thank you for your cooperation.

School Schedule(s)

Regular School Day - 8:57 - 3:45

Late Start Days - 11:32 - 3:45


8:40 - Breakfast opens

8:50 - 2nd and 3rd graders line up outside of classes

8:52 - Bell rings for students to enter hallways and classrooms

5:57 - School Starts

*Please try not to drop off your child any earlier than 8:45 a.m. Thank you!


3:35 - Kindergarten released to buses and parent pick up

3:42 - 1st - 3rd grade Kids Club, Walkers, and pick ups released

3:45 - All bussers released

Late Start Days

11:32 - 3:45

  • Students will eat lunch
  • Each class will receive 40 minutes of specials
  • Normal afternoon recess

Insurance and Maintenance Fee for Chromebooks

If you are still in need of assistance with the Insurance/Maintenance Fee for our 1:1 Chromebooks, please contact Mr. Edwards as soon as possible. We encourage you to set up a payment plan, whether it's $1/week or a month, or what every you can manage, we will work with each family to ensure your students device is covered


If you are still looking for a set of headphones to send in with your child, we now have an option for you. If you are interested in purchasing a pair, they are $1/pair. They will be located in the main office or you may send in $1 with your child and we will provide them with a pair.

School Volunteers/Visitors

Please check in with the office when you arrive. You will be required to wear a visitors badge

All volunteers are required to have a background check on file. Background checks are good for one full year. Please contact the main office or Mr. Edwards if you have any questions.

Trimesters to Semesters

We have switched to Semesters. You and your child will receive the following reports throughout the school year.

  • 2 detailed progress reports at conference time (November 16-17 and March 15)
  • 2 Report Cards at end of Semester time (January 27 and June 16)
