Nurse's Notes
SWM plans to begin our annual hearing and vision screenings on December 6th. We hope to screen students who are currently in 7th grade, as well as students who are new to the district and students who missed or failed their last screenings. If you do not want your student to be screened., please notify nurse Jacobs by December 2nd. You can email me at sjacobs2@parkwayschools.net or call 314-415-7329.
We are still seeing a significant number of respiratory illnesses here at SWM, especially Inlfueza A.. Please keep your student home whenever they have a fever or cough. Contact Nurse Jacobs if you have any questions or need to report your student has a contagious illness such as Influenza, Covid, or Strep. Thank you for helping to keep our school community safe!

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5TH----SKATE UNIT BEGINS!
We will skate the entire class period (12/5-12/16). It is highly recommended that students wear taller socks to protect their ankles from rubbing in the skates. We also encourage students to bring their own helmet from home (if they have one). Students will be required to wear a helmet and may feel more comfortable if they wear their own. The Skate Time company will provide us with safety gear, and it will be cleaned after each class period. Permission slip and payment can be found on Infinite Campus–deadline to turn in both is (see below for change).
Dear SWM Families and Guardians,
The HPE department has extended the deadline to collect skating forms and fees
to December 4th (Sunday).
Please contact your child’s HPE teacher for any questions.
Thank you very much.
