Vehicles driving and/or parking on the median break the sprinkler heads.
Let's be good neighbors and park only in the school's parking lots, and, if the lots are full, park on the street next to the curb. Thank you!

Go, Cavs!
All Dismissal Transportation Changes Must be Entered in School Dismissal Manager.
To ensure the safety of our Tigers, please do not phone, text, or email dismissal transportation changes to classroom teachers. Instead of phoning, texting, or emailing teachers, please enter student dismissal transportation changes in School Dismissal Manager. It's quick and easy, and when you enter the information in School Dismissal Manager, EVERYONE at WCHE who needs to know how Tigers are going home will have the information at hand.
Our teachers are busy providing instruction. Unless you enter dismissal changes in School Dismissal Manager, an important change that you need made could be overlooked. Be sure to enter updates into School Dismissal Manager no later than 1:45 pm the day the change is effective.
Thank you for helping us to help our Tigers get home safely and get home the way you prefer that they go home.
Yikes! What A Car Rider Line!
It's early in the school year, but if you've already grown tired of sitting in the car rider line, remember that the LTISD Transportation Department provides bus service to our school. If you didn't initially register for bus service, please consider signing up for bus service now via Skyward.
Carpooling with others and sending students to school by bus are two ways to streamline our morning arrivals.
In a few weeks, our 5th Grade Safety Patrol will begin helping with arrivals, and we'll be able to assist arriving students to hop out of their cars more quickly. Meanwhile, thank you for your patience.

Discovery/Gifted and Talented Program Information for 2019-2020
The Discovery Program, otherwise known as Gifted and Talented, is now accepting parent referrals for GT Screening via this google form.
Transfer students, who were already identified as GT coming from their previous district, should submit their google form as soon as possible, as the transfer student screening will be set within 30 days of the first day of school. Parents should send proof of their child's selection/participation in the previous GT program directly to the campus GT coordinator, Erika Serhus.
Current WCHE parents can submit referrals for screening up until the end of the first 9 weeks, by the date of October 10. Current WCHE students will be tested during the 2nd 9 weeks. If the referral and permission forms are not submitted by the deadline, the student will have to wait until the next year's screening opportunity to screen, as the spring screening session is only for students moving in new to the district after the fall testing window is closed.
The forms and further information about the program can be found here.
Once the request is submitted through the google form. the GT coordinator will contact parents via email when the testing dates are set and share other pertinent information as well.
You are also welcome to contact your campus GT coordinator at any time with questions.
We look forward to supporting your gifted and talented student!
